A Salon Rooted in Marco Island
For Kimberly Fisher, hair isn’t just a career it’s a calling woven into her life. Born and raised on Marco Island, Kimberly spent over a decade perfecting her craft at Strands by Jules before the opportunity arose to create a space of her own. With a growing team of stylists and a desire for a more spacious, calming environment, she knew it was time to take the leap.
Kimberly envisioned a salon that felt peaceful, natural, and grounded a quiet oasis where guests could unwind, breathe, and feel truly cared for. To bring that dream to life, she fully transformed the space, gutting the interior down to the studs and rebuilding every detail with intention. The result is Plume: a warm, bohemian-inspired salon filled with soft textures, gentle energy, and a comforting sense of welcome the moment you walk in.
Since opening in July, Plume has been embraced wholeheartedly by the Marco Island community. “Going out on my own, I feel very blessed and so grateful,” Kimberly says with a smile while working thoughtfully on a client’s hair. “I’m proud to bring this space to the place I call home.”

Plume is the only salon on the island proudly offering Davines an Italian, eco-conscious color line known for its exceptional performance, organic ingredients, and all-natural scents. Kimberly chose Davines for its gentle formulas and its alignment with her philosophy of mindful, healthy haircare.
Inside the salon, guests will also find a curated boutique featuring unique jewelry, clean haircare products, and naturally inspired pieces each item personally selected by Kimberly to reflect Plume’s organic, free-spirited aesthetic.
